The recent release of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk has reignited our slowly smouldering fascination with the Second World War. It is a fantastically shot tale of heroic feats from British civilians. Of course, unbeknownst to many, it is actually the second film about Dunkirk that has been made.
The first film of the dramatic crossing was originally released in 1957 and has recently been restored and will be screened on Camber Sands (where it was filmed) on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st of September.
The film will also be accompanied by a variety of entertainers and a short compilation of shots introduced by Hayley Mills, daughter of Dunkirk star John Mills.
There’s all this and more to look forward to, so book your tickets now!
