It’s that time of the year again where film fantastic across the UK gather to celebrate the best in show. From the biggest smash-hits to the quiet independents, the British Film Awards is one of the highest honours. Not just for British fans, but for filmmakers across the globe as well.
Ahead of this year’s fully announced BAFTA nominations, we’re delighted to see the EE Rising Star Award nods. This year showcases an array of upcoming talent which includes Get Out’s Daniel Kaluuya, Lady Macbeth herself Florence Pugh, God’s Own Country Josh O’Connor, Thor: Ragnarok’s Tessa Thompson, and Call Me By Your Name’s Timothée Chalamet. This is definitely a close call with so many fantastic stirring and incredible performances.
This is the only BAFTA award that gets voted for by the public and past winners have included James McAvoy, Will Poulter, and Juno Temple.
