The first trailer has dropped for Freddie Mercury and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Following the rise of legendary Rock band Queen led by flamboyant front man Mercury.
The film charts the band’s humble beginnings, musical rise and acclaim as one the most loved bands in the world. All while Mercury battled personal demons and failing health.
Starring Rami Malek, as the bands front man, from TV’s Mr. Robot. There is no doubt that Malik looks the part as the iconic Queen front. With so much written and seen of the band, what can this new biopic reveal of this time in Rock history? Yet the trailer is filled with the energy and of course music that confirmed Queen as one of the greatest musical acts of all times.
The film has had its fair amount of set backs on its way to the big screen. With both Sasha Baron Cohan and Ben Whisham attached for the led role, then departing pre-production. The film also had controversial director Bryan Singer exit mid production. Dexter Fletcher took the reigns for the end of production and editing.
