How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World – Brand New Trailer!

It’s here!!!!!!

Finally, the first trailer for the epic conclusion to the Dragon series has dropped. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World takes us back to the island of Berk. With young Hiccup (Jay Burachel) and his faithful Night Fury Dragon Toothless, on their latest adventure.

Dragon 3 is the final instalment of the franchise that started back in 2010. When a young Viking, at war with the dragons, chose to befriend and train a Dragon he shot down. What followed has been one of the best bromances animation has had to offered.

The trailer shows the characters still living peacefully in their dragon/Viking Utopia. Hiccup and Astrid, (America Ferrera) are still exploring and somehow stumble upon a secret world, inhabited with countless dragons. The biggest discovery comes in the form of a female Light Fury. It turns out Toothless is not the last of his kind. Toothless is in usual cutness overload, especially attempting to impress this new dragon lover interest.

The trailer also gives us our first look at the film’s villain. A hunter who wants to wipe out all dragons, inparticularly Fury’s.

But, like the books that inspired the series, (by Cressida Cowell) an older Hiccup declares that dragons were only around when he was a boy. The film will show us just what happened to them and go into a Dragon free era.

Previous director Dean DeBlois returns for his third outing as writer/director. The film promises to be an emotional conclusion in what has been DreamWorks strongest franchise (sorry Shrek).

Are you excited to see Hiccup and Toothless again?

The film will be released February 2019 and we cannot wait.
