Edgar Wright is best known for his comedy Cornetto Trilogy, alongside Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. However, the director has also branched out into other genres and works sch as Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Baby Dirver, and upcoming documentary The Sparks Brothers.
But 2021 is not just the year of one Edgar Wright film, no no. We’re getting another feature film in October and this time the acclaimed director will be tackling horror.
Featuring Thomasin McKenzie and Anya Taylor-Joy, Last Night in Soho revolves around a young girl who moves to London to study fashion. However, at night she dreams of a sixities London where she is a famed singer. As her fantasies and relaties start to blend together, could something more sinister be happening?
Within hints of Suspira and video nasties of the seventies, Last Night in Soho looks very intriguing indeed. What do you think?
Last Night in Soho is out in 29th October!
