The Legend of Tarzan – Brand New Clips!

Down in the jungle where nobody goes, there’s a pretty buff man ripping off his clothes. With a hub-a-bub here and a rub-a-dub here…..

Sorry, excuse me, anyway, The Legend of Tarzan has finally swung into cinemas today and luckily for us, before we get to watch it, we get to watch more clip!

Directed by Harry Potter’s David Yates, the film sees Tarzan (Alex Skarsgaard,) who has lived in London for ten years, forced back to the jungle when a mining company threatens his old way of life and family.

So the film hasn’t been appreciated by critics and that’s not surprising. We are surely tired and exhausted by unoriginality and the murky grey aesthetics of The Legend of Tarzan is not appealing enough.

What do you think?

THE LEGEND OF TARZAN IS OUT NOW!

The Legend of Tarzan – “Conquer” Video

Right, so, hands up who is watching this film purely because of a buff Alexander Skarsgaard, running through the forest with no shirt on, covered in mud and moodiness? So, despite being completely superficial – you are not alone.

The jungle based epic is either going to be bloody brilliant or it’s going to be a huge pile of gorilla dung. That being sad. Alexander Skarsgaard. Topless. Running through the Jungle. I mean. I’m game.

The Legend of Tarzan – Brand New Trailer!

Tarzan has had a lot of conceptions. Some good, some bad, some absolutely phenomenal (see: Disney’s Tarzan.) The story of the ape man who was raised in the heart of the jungle and falls in love with the first woman he sees (not as creepy as it sounds) has been populating our television and cinematic screens for a very long time.

The Legend  of Tarzan looks too grimy and dark. What happened to movies nowadays? Because there was a time with opulent colour and daring escapades took charge of the cinema and now we’re so focused on making it too serious, leaving the family yarns to the cartoons. You can have natural balance but here, it seems stripped away and far too dark to be taken seriously.
