Journalists, spies, and government corruption. The Last Thing He Wanted seems to have it all.

Directed by Dee Rees (Mudbound,) the film is an adaptation of Joan Didion’s novel of the same name. It revolves around a veteran DC journalists who is sent on a guilt-propelled errand and she soon becomes the subject of the very story she is trying to break.

Starring Anee Hathaway, Ben Affleck, and Willem Dafoe, this definitely looks enticing.
