Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe’s El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption – before everything goes to hell.

Jon Hamm, Jeff Bridges, Dakota Johnson, Nick Offerman, Chris Hemsworth…how are we supposed to say no to that? Goddard has already wowed with the excellent screenplay for The Cabin in the Woods and the Academy Award nominated The Martian, and this newest effort definitely looks up to scratch. Eerie, funny, and looks devilishly well crafted.
